The Godly Family: Week 2 – Youth (Pastor Andrew)
PASTOR ANDREW SAPOZHNYKOV   -

In the Apostle Paul’s second missionary journey, Paul went first to Derbe and then to Lystra, where there was a young disciple named Timothy. His mother was a Jewish believer, but his father was a Greek. Paul saw great promise in Timothy and began to invest in him. Paul recognized that even though Timothy was very young and inexperienced, he was also godly, teachable and had real leadership gifts and talents. But the young need lots of special encouragement. Paul says to the young man, For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. It’s just what a young person needs to hear!
