Psalms of Summer: Week 7- Psalm 37 (Justice)
PASTOR ALAN DUNCALFE   -

Sometimes life seems just so unfair. We are tempted to think that honesty doesn’t pay. David has his moments when he sincerely wonders if living according to God’s laws is ultimately beneficial.

David is speaking to those of us who perhaps doubt God and His justice and sovereignty. This Psalm reminds us to keep our eyes on God and to be careful not to be sidetracked by the apparent success of the ungodly.

David exhorts us, Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Righteous living is most definitely the best policy!
