Acts: Part 33 – God’s Sovereignty on Display
PASTOR ALAN DUNCALFE   -

After being thrown into jail illegally the city officials were alarmed to learn that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens. So they came to the jail and apologized to them. Then they brought them out and begged them to leave the city. When Paul and Silas left the prison, they returned to the home of Lydia. There they met with the believers and encouraged them once more. Then they left town. What a grand display of the power of Almighty God. These new Believers were sheltered in the knowledge that God was sovereign—greater than the all of the city officials—and they were able to worship God and practice their knew faith with boldness.
